Branding

Disney Events

As a graphic design intern on Disney's Cast Activities & Recognition team, I developed and maintained brand identities for a number of internal events at Walt Disney World. All work belongs to ©Disney.

Annual after-hours scavenger hunt at Disneyland.

Event’s theme

This themed event is one of the many annual activities Cast Members get to participate in. Players dash through Disney's California Adventure park in search of clues and puzzle pieces to win medals and bragging rights.

This year's theme was "Broadway Musical", which I reflected in the logo, poster, punchcard, enamel pin, and other collateral.

About the event

This annual event takes place at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and hosts about 5000 Disney employees (referred to as cast members). It was a great honor to develop a Hawaii-inspired brand identity for the event.

Hula Hunt is a scavenger hunt game for all ages. I collaborated with event managers and designed a game submission form. I also illustrated and produced 15 "treasures" that guests had to find in the park.

Print Collateral

Brand identity of this annual autumn event is inspired by nature and outdoor fun. The shapes and color palette are influenced by the Mid-Century Modern movement - clean simple lines, flat blocks of colors, bold typography, etc.

Recognition cards

Inspired by the windows on Main Street, U.S.A.

At Disney, the highest form of recognition for any Cast Member is getting a window on Main Street USA at Disneyland. Typically, they appear as fictional businesses (realtors, dentists, etc.), and often refer to a development made by the person honored.

For the new leader appreciation cards I came up with a similar concept: pocket-sized "window" cards that feature a quality or achievement for which a Cast Member is recognized, as well as a blank slot where a leader would put that Cast Member’s name.
