Branding & website

Odd Job

Odd Job
is a digital marketing agency that helps small businesses grow. In close collaboration with the founder, I created the Odd Job brand, which is infused with daring personality to attract creative entrepreneurs. I lead this project from concept to completion, culminating in building a website in Webflow, which you can see live here!

Brand design process

Exploration in stylescapes

The client expressed a want for bright vibrant colors and strong bold graphics. Together we came up with the following aspects that are integral to the brand: friendly, energetic, empowering, diverse, dynamic.

Based on that I put together three stylescapes, each communicating a unique look & feel.

The client gravitated towards this stylescape due to its stark geometric shapes, high-contrast color scheme, and minimal illustrations.

Logo design exploration

I explored multiple logo designs with varying levels of playfulness and originality. Through feedback sessions and multiple revisions we ended up with a rather simple geometric mark, as well as added a pop of color to the dot of “J” and a lively jumping motion.

Animated illustrations

I designed a cohesive set of spot illustrations that could be scaled and customized. In collaboration with a motion designer, Camila Lachman, we created light-weight Lotte animations that come to life as you scroll.

web design process

While working on the brand design, I also created the Odd Job website, starting with rough mocks and ending with a functional website built in Webflow.
